Hi mum Well it was one year ago on the 1 January, when you passed away. It has been a difficult year, but we have done lots of lovely things to mark each occasion, as I know you would have loved. I will always go on doing lovely things, to mark things- to celebrate what a fantastic life you lead- a real celebration of life and how you lived it right to the end. We went to lanzarote on the 30 Dec, myself Daisy and Richard, and we stayed ironically near the hotel where we had stayed a few years before, so it was like you were there, as we had been together before. We brought in 2014 in style in a lovely hotel, and fireworks after, it was a lovely happy evening, I just wished you were there to have seen it. New years day we wrote a message on a lantern, and sent it up to the sky for you- daisy waved to nanna in the sky- there isn't a day that passes where daisy doesn't mention nanna in the sky. Anyway I hope 2014 is going to be a happy healthy year, it can't be any worse than 2013. I feel very lucky to have met Richard, as he is such a positive person in my life, and I know you would have loved him, as he likes homes under the hammer! Lots of love always and a happy new year.
